| Benefit: A character with this feat may attempt to absorb the energy of a spell cast at them rather than roll a saving throw. When the character attempts this, he must make a will check vs DC = 15 + 2 per level of spell. If he succeeds, one empty spell slot up to one level lower than the spell absorbed is replenished. If he fails, he takes full damage from the spell and 1d6 points of subdual damage. Spells altered by metamagic are calculated by the spell slot they occupy. |
